Beneath the overhanging branches of Cook pines and gently swaying palms, discover
Sensei Lānaʻi, A Four Seasons Resort.
Through an educational, enriching experience guided by technology and science, every part of your journey is entirely unique to you.
Guided Sensei Experience guests are connected with a Sensei Guide who works closely with our wellness team to create seamless integration throughout your stay.
Open to guests ages 16 and older, our resort enhances self-discovery with luxurious Four Seasons accommodations, private spa hales and our restaurant, Sensei by Nobu, in addition to the well-appointed amenities around the property.
Our property is located in Kōʻele, the traditionally spiritual uplands of Lānaʻi, and is surrounded by undulating mountains, beckoning valleys and expansive plateaus that lead to the ocean. Discover the unique landscapes of Kōʻele on nearby hiking, biking and horseback trails, and ponder art and natural beauty in our extensive sculpture garden.
Intentionally placed among expansive garden foliage, our outdoor art collection is an impressive display of unique sculptures by world-renowned artists. A premier outdoor sculpture garden includes larger-than-life Botero, Plensa, Lobo, Quinn, Castel, Young, Lalanne, Ming and Indiana sculptures that were thoughtfully curated to inspire the creative spirit and enhance relaxation.
Robert Indiana’s iconic “Imperial LOVE” sculpture, which has inspired countless spectators around the globe, brings a spirit of whimsical joy to our grounds.
Find several works created by Spanish artist Baltasar Lobo, including the curving contours of “Grande Jeune Fille a Genoux” kneeling in the landscape. These sculptures adorn the entries to the spa hales and provide a peaceful welcome to your private sanctuary.
With defined edges arching gracefully over a path, Taiwanese artist Ju Ming’s tai chi sculpture serves as a gateway to the serene onsen garden.
Enjoy a restorative yoga or breath work session in our expansive Yoga Pavilion or an invigorating flow class on our outdoor platform overlooking the pond.
We have two movement studios ideal for a challenging TRX workout or one-on-one session with a trainer, and our Exercise Pavilion is available to guests 24 hours a day with all of the latest fitness equipment.
Follow an orchid path through our vast Kōʻele Gardens, leading you to your own spa hale (the Hawaiian word for “home”). Ten private 1,000-square-foot spa hales are seamlessly integrated with the natural beauty of Kōʻele.
Each hale offers an exclusive sanctuary to enjoy private time before or after spa and wellness treatments, or to reserve for your personal use. Infrared saunas, indoor and outdoor showers and soaking pools in a private garden allow you to enrich and reflect in peace.
All spa treatments incorporate 30 minutes of hale time (included in the service duration) to unwind and indulge in quiet luxury.
Share a couples massage and nurture connection with your partner in a luxurious environment designed to blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor space.
Our stunning onsen garden boasts 10 heated soaking tubs nestled amid garden foliage for private contemplation and relaxation.
Situated in a peaceful setting of bountiful trees and flowering plants, our heated outdoor pool has two 25-meter lap lanes for swimming and three whirlpools. For your enjoyment we also offer poolside dining and refreshments.
A focal point of the grounds is a serene pond, filled with koi fish and lotus flowers to help relax and rejuvenate. Enjoy peaceful moments of quietude on one of the many platform decks overlooking the water.
